Account Settings and Integrations
The Settings page in AdventureLog gives you control over your profile, security, and connected services. Access it from the navigation bar by clicking your avatar or navigating to Settings.
Profile Settings
Manage your account details:
- Update your display name (first and last name)
- Change your username
- Set your preferred currency for travel expense tracking
- Upload or change your profile picture
Security
Protect your account with these security options:
- Change Password: Update your account password
- Two-Factor Authentication (TOTP): Enable time-based one-time passwords for an extra layer of login security. You will need an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) to set this up
- Email Management: Add, remove, or verify email addresses associated with your account
Integrations
AdventureLog connects with several external services to enhance your experience:
Immich Integration
Connect your Immich photo server to import photos directly into your locations:
- Enter your Immich server URL and API key
- Choose whether to copy images locally or link to them on your Immich server
- Browse and select photos from your Immich library when adding images to locations
Strava Integration
Sync your outdoor activities from Strava:
- Connect your Strava account to import activity data
- Activities include GPS tracks, distance, elevation, and timing data
- Imported activities appear on location maps with their GPX trail lines
Wanderer Integration
Link your Wanderer trail data:
- Enter your Wanderer server URL and credentials
- Import trail information including distance and elevation gain
- Trails are associated with locations for a complete outdoor activity record
Google Maps
When enabled by your instance administrator, Google Maps provides enhanced geocoding and place search capabilities.
Backup and Restore
Protect your travel data:
- Export: Download a complete backup of your AdventureLog data
- Import: Restore from a previous backup file
- Backups include all locations, collections, visits, and associated metadata
Admin Settings
If you have administrator privileges, an additional admin section is available with instance-wide configuration options.
